A native of San Antonio, Timothy S. Palomera MD, performed both his undergraduate and medical training in the Alamo City where he received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1997. After graduation from the Family Medicine Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident, he completed a sports medicine fellowship. He joined the Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio in 2001. He serves as Team Physician for the AHL San Antonio Rampage, WNBA Silver Stars, Trinity University and several local high schools. He specializes in the nonoperative treatment of sports injuries including injuries to the head, spine, and upper and lower extremities.
