Dr. Lopez has been teaching family practice residents since his graduation from residency in 1994. He was a highly respected member of the faculty in the McClennan County Family Medicine Residency Program (FPRP) in Waco, Texas, before joining the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa FPRP team in 1997.
Dr. Lopez is a published medical author and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the National Hispanic Medical Association. He also enjoys being a football coach.
