Dr. Brown is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who joined the faculty in January 2004. Since graduating from Georgetown University School of Medicine, his career has been segmented into military medicine, mainstream private practice of obstetrics and gynecology, medical education, and advanced gynecologic surgery.
He is a member of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations and serves on the San Antonio Area Council for CMDA. He lectures on the spiritual aspects of medicine at the local, regional and national level. He is also a member of the National Advisory Board of the Medical Institute for Sexual Health. He is a recognized spokesperson on the subjects of Sexual Health, Breast Cancer and Hormone Therapy.
He enjoys adventures with his wife Marian who is a San Antonian. They are members of First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio. They enjoy their eight grandchildren immensely.
