Eliot Young, MD, FAAFP

Sports Medicine Program Director

Med School: University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, 1993.
Residency: Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA 1993-1996.
Fellowship: University of Washington School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, Faculty Development Fellowship, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Primary Care: Sports Medicine Fellowship.
Specialty Board: American Board of Family Medicine, CAQ Sports Medicine.

Dr. Young is an AOA graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, who completed his family medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash. After residency, he remained on staff as a teaching faculty member and completed a fellowship in Faculty Development at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Once at CHRISTUS, he participated in the creation of the Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship, and then became its first graduate. He is now the program director of the sports medicine fellowship.
