Dr. Ballesteros has been in private practice since her graduation from residency in 1995. She joined our program in 1997 as a highly recruited faculty member. Dr. Ballesteros is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Association and is currently the president of the Mexican American Physicians Association. She also serves on the TAFP Executive Committee for 2003.
